Blue, a 4-year-old husky who was abandoned outside the Bergen County Animal Shelter in August, is ready to find his forever home.

Rescuers describe Blue as sweet, silly and smart, with all the energy and personality huskies are known for.

He would thrive with an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors and can keep up with his adventurous spirit.

While Blue does well with children, rescuers recommend a home with kids ages 12 and older because he can be prone to jumping when he's excited.

The Bergen County Animal Shelter will provide training support to his new family to set him up for success.

Those interested in adopting Blue can learn more at the Bergen County Animal Shelter's website.
