Friends and family in Hunts Point attended a funeral service Sunday to pay their respects and call for justice for Pamela Almonte Cabrera.
The 35-year-old mother was
stabbed multiple times in the chest outside of Mama Dora Bar and Lounge on Oct. 26.

"She was full of joy," said Almonte Cabrera's sister, Karen Rodriguez.
The 30-year-old told News 12 she is trying to make sense of her new reality after the death of her older sister.
"Now I make sure I'm here for my family because now I'm the only sister," she said.
Crowds gathered outside of R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home, some wearing white hoodies with the phrase "we'll always remember you" in Spanish.
Others called for justice, chanting, "no justice, no peace."
As Rodriguez looked at the people in attendance, she said it was proof of the lives her sister touched.
"She clearly impacted the whole community. It's bigger than just her and our family, it's what she's contributed and brought to the Bronx," Rodriguez said.
Moya is due back in court on Monday, Nov. 3.
