Major sewer collapse in Bloomfield closes roads until Friday
The entrance to the Garden State Parkway, northbound from Montgomery Street and JFK North is closed until Friday.

5h agoA major sewer collapse has closed some roads in Bloomfield.
The entrance to the Garden State Parkway, northbound from Montgomery Street and JFK North is closed Wednesday through Friday as crews work to repair the sewer and road. The sewer collapsed on Liberty Street and JFK North. Commuters are advised to avoid the area and plan a different way to north.
The next on-ramp to the Parkway North is Belleville Avenue 506 or commuters will have to drive on sooner from Springdale Avenue and Walnut Street.
