Power outages from Sunday's storm results in heavy traffic delays in Little Silver

Power outages in Little Silver from Sunday night’s storm resulted in heavy traffic delays at Rumson Road and Harding Road.
The traffic light at the intersection was out of service and Rumson Road was blocked off as utility crews worked to restore power.
“I was stuck on Harding for the longest time. I think it took me 20 minutes to get from Rumson Road just to Ridge Road. Bumper to bumper, one by one, people going,” explained Sawyer Stone, delivery driver.
When faced with traffic, many drivers attempted to turn around to avoid delays on Harding Road.
As one driver attempted to do so, his car stalled.
Other drivers got out of their car to help push his car so he could call a tow truck.
