It’s back to school today for many students across New Jersey, but some won't be in class the full day.
Many early dismissals are already planned for schools, and the anticipated heat is to blame.
Heat advisories remain in effect for multiple counties, and News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says temperatures Thursday will be in the 90s once again.

Several students Wednesday at Bergen Arts and Science Charter School in Hackensack were running laps outside when at least five students became overheated and went to the nurse’s office.
Some of them started to vomit.
Schools dismissing early include ones in Hackensack, Teaneck, and Wayne.
