A Secaucus man has been arrested after striking a car making a left turn while driving nearly three times the speed limit.

Jobeth Manga, 21, was driving his Tesla Model 3 southbound on County Avenue when he struck a Hyundai Kona making a left turn out of a UPS employee parking lot, where the posted speed limit is 25 mph, police said.

The driver of the Hyundai, which took the impact to the front driver’s side, suffered serious injuries in the collision and was taken to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.

Manga was treated on scene for minor injuries.

He was charged with one count of assault by auto, reckless driving and speeding, and was released on a summons pending his appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court.
