Man falls to his death at MSG concert

A 51-year-old man fell to his death at a Madison Square Garden concert Saturday night, according to NYPD.

Police say they responded to a 911 call for an injured man at 4 Penn Plaza at 9:51 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the man unconscious and unresponsive, sustaining injuries that indicated a fall from an elevated position, according to NYPD.

The man was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The incident occurred during the performance by Goose, an American rock band from Wilton, CT, according to MSG's website.

The band played at MSG both Friday and Saturday night.

The band expressed their condolences to the victim in an Instagram post Sunday morning.

The incident is under investigation, according to NYPD.
