The Route 72 Causeway Bridge in Stafford has reopened after the bridge was closed in both directions Sunday for more than two hours.

According to authorities, the bridge was closed due to a suspicious bag found there.

Stafford police and state police determined the bag was not a threat, and that it was safe to reopen the bridge.
