Nassau County police have arrested a Copiague man for alleged unlawful surveillance in a Rockville Centre massage therapy room.

Luke Unneland, the owner of Kokoro Wellness at 78 N. Village Ave., was arrested Friday afternoon after a 32-year-old female noticed what appeared to be a recording device on a wall inside the massage therapy room, according to police.

After an extensive investigation, police say it was determined that three additional people were also victims.

Unneland, 38, will be arraigned Saturday at the First District Court in Hempstead.

The investigation also revealed that illegal massages were also being conducted at the location, according to police. Daniela Cespedes Almonacid, 35, was arrested without incident and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.

Police say that further investigation revealed that Almonacid is illegally in the United States and U.S. immigration Customs Enforcement agents took her into custody.

Detectives are asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim to contact Nassau Police at 516-573-6153 and that all callers will remain anonymous.
