Riverdale parents concerned about late-night parties at local playground

Multiple 311 complaints have been filed, and Councilman Eric Dinowitz's office says it has heard from residents as well.

Parents say teens have been blasting loud music, doing drugs and leaving trash behind at Maclaughlin Playground on Greystone Avenue after hours.

“They might be small things, but if it’s directly out your window, then you really feel it," said Emmanuel, from Riverdale.

Multiple 311 complaints have been filed, and Councilman Eric Dinowitz's office says it has heard from residents as well.

“Nobody in NYC should be experiencing that especially where they bring their kids to play," said Councilman Dinowitz.

The councilman says his office is working to find a solution to these quality-of-life issues.
