Students in the Evesham School District are now better prepared for the start of the school year, thanks to a “Jersey Proud” fundraiser.

The township held a backpack and school supply drive. The backpacks were loaded up with the necessities, like notebooks, pens and water bottles.

Police officers and other volunteers packed the bags at Beeler Elementary School this week.
