A man accused of attacking a woman with a machete Tuesday in Fairview has been charged with attempted murder, according to prosecutors.
Officials say 37-year-old Josue Corea cut the woman in the stairwell of an apartment.
The victim was hospitalized, and Corea was later arrested in Edgewater.
