Prosecutor: Toms River man stole father’s laptop, tried to burn house down

Authorities charged 45-year-old John Voltolino, Jr. with burglary, aggravated arson, theft and criminal mischief for the Sept. 4 incident.

A Toms River man is accused of stealing from his father’s home and then trying to set a fire inside the home.
Authorities charged 45-year-old John Voltolino, Jr. with burglary, aggravated arson, theft and criminal mischief for the Sept. 4 incident. \
The Ocean County prosecutor says that Voltolino broke into his father’s home, stole a laptop and then tried to burn the home down using gasoline.
Voltolino was eventually found in a wooded area behind his father’s house and arrested.
