Two children who were found dead in a car in Somerset County were allegedly strangled by their mother, according to the Somerset County prosecutor.
Autopsy reports found that 7-year-old Samantha Ross and 11-month-old Paul Ross died from asphyxia by airway obstruction.
The children’s mother, 36-year-old Yuhwei Chou, has been charged in their deaths. She allegedly admitted to planning the killings for about a week. The family is from the Skillman section of Montgomery Township.
The children were found dead inside of their mother’s vehicle in Hillsborough earlier this week.
Chou is being held at the Somerset County Jail awaiting a bail hearing.
