Prosecutor identifies child killed in drive-by shooting; asks public for help
The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office is asking the public for help solving a crime that left a 10-year-old girl dead.
Authorities say that 10-year-old Jasayde Holder was killed in a drive-by shooting Sunday night inside a home on the 700 block of W. Earl Drive in Vineland.
Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae says that Holder just completed the fourth grade at Dane Barse School.
“She was described by her family as creative. She loved music and riding her bike,” Webb-McRae said in a statement.
The prosecutor is asking anyone who may have a security camera on their home who lives in the areas of the shooting to share video from that night with authorities. She is asking anyone who may have information about the shooting to contact Detective Christopher Johnson at 609-579-1431 or submit information to the office’s tip website.
