A Paulsboro man has admitted to murdering a woman and accidentally shooting a child during a January incident at a Gloucester County home.

Ramon Acevado pleaded guilty to shooting a woman in the head during an ongoing dispute, prosecutors said.

Authorities say Acevado then shot a child while handling the gun in a hallway.

The shooting happened in January in Paulsboro.

Acevado faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced in November.
