Prosecutor: 2 people found dead following fire in Hoboken warehouse

Two people have been found dead after a fire broke out inside of a warehouse in Hoboken, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

Two people have been found dead after a fire broke out inside of a warehouse in Hoboken, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officials say that a Hoboken police officer on patrol heard a loud explosion around 12:20 a.m. on Monday near Jackson Street.
First responders soon found that the warehouse located at 38 Jackson St. was on fire.
Black smoke and flames could be seen pouring out of the building. Officials say that the fire damaged several surrounding buildings and that several of the building sustained severe water damage.
The bodies of two people were found inside the warehouse while firefighters were working to douse the flames. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The cause and manner of death is under investigation, according to officials.
