Thousands of residents have power back Friday after a Thanksgiving Day outage in Middletown.
Two separate outages occurred within hours of each other on Thursday. A JCPL spokesperson says 7,000 customers were without power in Middletown after a transmission line failure took multiple substations offline.
The other outage took place after a tree fell on wires around 5 a.m. in Jackson.
It lasted around five hours and impacted 4,000 residents.
