A Trenton man is facing murder, robbery and firearms charges in a string of armed robberies that took place between 2022 and 2023.
Police say Paul McNeil is accused of holding victims at gunpoint and stealing thousands of dollars in two of the robberies. In one instance, he allegedly tied three victims' hands behind their backs and forced them into a basement while he ransacked their business.
Authorities believe McNeil is also linked to the death of a cannabis shop owner, who was followed home from work, robbed and thenshot and killed in his own home in 2023.
