Police say a Tenafly woman was hit and killed when she and her daughter attempted to cross a street in the borough Sunday morning.

Police say a Tenafly woman was hit and killed when she and her daughter attempted to cross a street in the borough Sunday morning.
She was pronounced dead after being rushed to Englewood Hospital, according to police.
The girl, who was also hit by the Honda, was also taken to Englewood Hospital with non-life-threatening leg injuries.
Police say an 82-year-old Tenafly woman was driving east on Hillside Avenue around 7:30 a.m. and turned onto Engle Street as the mother and daughter were crossing.
The driver was not injured and did remain at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
