Hackensack police say a man threatened another civilian with a gun outside a church.

Kerris Meadows was seen with a gun near Second and Central streets, officers say. They say a man ran into a nearby church and handed over a bag with a gun inside.

Meadows was charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
