Lakewood police say a man was fatally struck by a car on Christmas Day.
The unidentified man was hit near the intersection of Cedarbridge Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive.
Officials say at least 13 fatal crashes and collisions have been reported in Lakewood this year.
Authorities in Ocean County say they plan to step up traffic enforcement.
