Police: Driver distracted by GPS crashes into school bus

A driver distracted by the GPS on her cellphone crashed into a school bus, according to police.

A driver distracted by the GPS on her cellphone crashed into a school bus, according to police.
Bridgewater police say that the crash happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday near Somerset Street and Woodlawn Avenue. The school bus was transporting students from Bridgewater Raritan Middle School.
Police say that the bus was stopped when it was hit from behind by a woman driving a 2018 Honda Civic.
The bus driver and a passenger in the Civic were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. None of the students were hurt.
Police say that the driver of the Civic was issued a summons for the improper use of a hand-held device.
