The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says a Clifton man was killed
after police say he was struck by a 21-year-old driver while crossing the street.
Police responded Sunday
around 8:22 a.m. to the area of
Hazel Street and Van Orden Place.
According to police, Marinus Lalumia, 81, was
crossing the street when he was struck by a 2017 Honda HR-V operated by Ibrahim
A. Jadallah, of Paterson.
Police say Lalumia was pronounced deceased on the scene.
No charges have been filed at this time.
