A 14-year-old boy was hit by a car while riding his bike in Fanwood Saturday morning, police say.
They say it happened at La Grande Avenue and Helen Street.
Police say the boy was taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Newark.
They haven't confirmed the extent of his injuries.
The driver who hit him stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
