One person was killed in an early morning crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to state police.
The crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday on the northbound side of the highway in Cranbury.
Police did not release many details about the crash, including what type of vehicle the victim was driving or the victim’s identity.
Several northbound lanes were closed during the investigation, which backed up traffic during the morning commute. But the lanes have since reopened.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
