(AP) - New Jersey State Police haveidentified a man killed Tuesday night in the crash of a small planein Alexandria Township. State Police Sgt. Steve Jones said 63-year-old Ronald Orton ofEaston, Pa. was killed when a single-engine Piper aircraft crashedsometime after 6 p.m. in a wooded area of the rural community about30 miles northwest of Trenton. Jones said 56-year-old Peter Schneider of Glen Gardner wasinjured in the crash, and is in stable condition at St. Luke'sHospital in Bethlehem, Pa. The crash occurred about a quarter-mile east of AlexandriaField, a small airport in Pittstown. Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and theNew Jersey Division of Aeronautics are investigating the crash.
