Authorities say a Burlington County man has been charged with aggravated manslaughter for fatally shooting his friend in the chest.
County prosecutors said Friday that 18-year-old Nelven Salas was charged in the shooting that left his former high school wrestling teammate dead Thursday.
Davon Coleman was shot early Thursday morning as the two hung out in a garage at another person's house.
Salas and Coleman wrestled together at Pemberton Township High School, where they graduated from last month. Coleman holds the school's record for wins in a season.
He was being held in jail on $250,000 bail. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
Police were initially told that three masked men came into the house. But prosecutors say the gun was later found in the garage.
