Overnight fire rips through building in West Farms; no reports of injuries

A fire ripped through a building overnight in a West Farms building, according to the FDNY.
The call for came in at 2:39 a.m. for the fire at 600 East 178th Street.
Fire officials say the fire was under control in less than an hour. As of right now, there have been no reports of injuries.
At the time of the fire, firefighters were seen working hard to put out the flames on the scene.
The ladder truck was cranked all the way up to the top floor.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
The Red Cross says it has registered one household with six adults for emergency assistance, including temporary lodging and financial assistance.
