If you're headed to anywhere in Middlesex County or south, outdoor fire restrictions have been put in place following two wildfires in New Jersey over the past few days, which are now 100% contained.
According to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, all fires in wooded areas are banned, unless it's in an elevated stove.
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service says charcoal fires are also not allowed, and no agriculture burning. That's for Divisions B and C, which is much of the southern part of the state.
There's a ban on open burning in effect until further notice.
The two forest fires in Little Egg Harbor and Pemberton burned around 1,000 acres in recent days. New Jersey is in what's considered a high-risk period.
