A man’s body was discovered inside the rubble of a makeshift shelter that caught fire Friday in Jersey City, according to officials.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office says it happened around 6 p.m. at 1000 Newark Ave.
The Hudson County Regional Arson Task for is investigating the cause of the fire and determining the victim’s official cause of death.
