Officials say a man was fatally shot in Newark Friday evening.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office says Eric Lasure was shot on the 100 block of Leslie Street around 8 p.m.
The 30-year-old was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
