2ds agoA Bayonne man was arrested for allegedly stealing a police car in Hudson County.
Police were directing traffic after a crash in the area of 13th Street and Broadway in Bayonne.
When the officers went to return to their car, it was gone.
Police say an alert was sent out and the car was found in Staten Island.
A chase ensued and ended in a crash in Brooklyn.
The suspect was arrested by Port Authority police.
