16h agoThe State Bond Commission approved funding for upgrades to be made to two of UConn's sports arenas Friday.
Officials approved $10 million for a new video board system, lighting and retractable seating at Gampel Pavillion, where the school's top ranking basketball teams play.
Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field will also receive $4 million for security upgrades and new bathrooms.
