The National Transportation Safety Board released a series of files Wednesday that describe the moments before a Learjet crashed outside Teterboro Airport last May.
The jet’s pilot and co-pilot were killed when the jet crashed short of the runway.
Air traffic controllers told investigators they noticed the plane made its final turn later than is customary, then banked hard to the right before crashing.
A transcript of the cockpit voice recorder shows the pilot and co-pilot scrambling to keep the plane in the air.
The agency also released files containing witness statements, pilot records and flight report. The files can be found at the NTSB website.
The NTSB hasn't released a final report pinpointing a cause of the accident.
The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
