New Jersey Transit says full service to the Hoboken train station will return on Monday after a fatal accident forced it to close for almost three weeks.
They say additional tracks will open starting at 4 a.m. Monday and the ticket office will resume service at the terminal on Saturday night.
"In addition, and as an extra safety measure, trains entering Hoboken terminal will decrease their approach speed from 10 mph to 5 mph," said Steven Santoro, the executive director of NJ Transit.
Pascack Valley Line train No. 1614 crashed into the station on Sept. 29. The crash killed one woman and injured more than 100 people.
Commuters can visit NJ Transit's website for further details. Monday's schedule will be made available online Saturday night.
