A Newark man has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for his role in a multistate car theft ring that stole at least 40 cars between 2016 and 2020.
Warren Guerrier, 47, was sentenced to 5 years and 10 months in prison and ordered to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in restitution.
Investigators in Trenton found that Guerrier worked with others to orchestrate a scheme to steal and sell cars to unsuspecting buyers.
