fire in a scrapyard in Newark created a large plume of smoke that could be
seen and smelled from miles away.

fire at the Eastern Metal Recycling Terminal on Calcutta Street had been
burning since Monday around 8 p.m.
Clipper
Street remains closed as a result.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
