Crews in Paterson are working to repair a 42-inch water main break on North 1st and Arch streets.
The Passaic Valley Water Commission says there is no timeframe for the repairs.
Over the weekend, the borough of Fair Lawn put residents under a boil water advisory until further notice, since some of their water comes from the Passaic Valley Water Commission.
This break is separate from the 30-inch water main break on Aug. 8.
The Passaic Valley Water Commission is still flushing out the system as a result, so impacted residents remain in a boil water advisory for parts of Paterson, Prospect Park, Haledon and North Haledon.
