A new pop-up park is coming to Hoboken – a 1-acre area inside Southwest Resiliency Park.
The city started construction in the park on Wednesday. Officials say that all kinds of activities will be available to the community while the permanent park design is being created.
"It'll include everything from pickle ball courts - a new sport that I'm looking to getting into. We're going to have a basketball court, picnic tables, a beautiful playground, shade structures, and a whole lot more,” said Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla.
The park will be finished this summer.
