A man from New Jersey was arrested for attacking another man from Florida with a hammer after a fight stemming from an online video game.

Police say Edward Kang, 20, flew from Newark to Jacksonville over the weekend to carry out the attack after getting into an altercation online with someone he allegedly met from playing ArcheAge.

Authorities say Kang bought a hammer and broke into the victim's home wearing all black clothing, including gloves and a mask.

According to police, Kang then attacked the victim with the hammer late Saturday night, inflicting severe but nonlife-threatening injuries. Kang was charged with attempted murder.
