Linden resident Jane Koza had a special day the Yankees game yesterday, watching her favorite team win and touring the stadium.
Koza was paralyzed after suffering a spinal stroke, but that hasn’t stopped her from enjoying two of her favorite things, being an artist and being a fan of the New York Yankees.
She works with the nonprofit Help Hope Live, which helps her sell her artwork to fundraise for her medical expenses. She has crafted over 100 paintings, including one for Aaron Judge who signed a hat for her.
