Community members in Morristown say they are fearful and concerned after a recent ICE raid.
A high school student was one of about a dozen people reportedly taken into ICE custody in front of a laundromat and other businesses on Sunday.
That area is usually busy, but it's not after the raid.
"Business is going to be down," said Maria Munoz, who has owned a store on Speedwell Avenue for 14 years. "I see a lot of businesses closing already, and it's sad to see people cannot even go out to eat because they are afraid of the immigration policies."
On the street, it is clear ICE isn't welcomed by many.
And inside Munoz's store, there's a pamphlet with instructions on what to do during an encounter with ICE.
Down the street is St. Margaret's Catholic Church.
"We want people to know that they belong here, they belong to Morristown and as we belong to Morristown, well we belong to this country," Father Duberney Villamizar said. "We are part of this country."
