A non‑fatal police‑involved shooting was reported late Wednesday night in South Toms River, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

The incident happened around 9:49 p.m. on April 29, officials said.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit are handling the investigation.
