Misleading fans? New York man sues Giants, Jets because they play in New Jersey
A man in New York is suing the Giants and Jets, claiming the teams are misleading fans by calling themselves New York teams while playing in New Jersey.

A man in New York is suing the Giants and Jets,
claiming the teams are misleading fans by calling themselves New York teams
while playing in New Jersey.
Plaintiff Abdiell Suero demands the teams
return to New York. He wants $6 billion in damages. He asked in the class-action
complaint for an order returning both franchises to New York in 2025.
Court papers also asked for the two teams to be
rebranded as the East Rutherford Giants and Jets for as long as they continue
to play in New Jersey
The Jets didn't respond, but the Giants said
the lawsuit has no merit and they will defend it vigorously.
