The Middlesex County Fair made its return this weekend after the pandemic forced its cancellation last year.
There was plenty of food at the fairgrounds off Cranbury Road in East Brunswick.
The always popular vegetable competition was back as well with plenty of animals to see from the big to the small.
"Attendance has been great, people spent a lot of money, the vendors are all very happy, the ride people are happy. We didn't get any rain here, it rained last night, and we say that knocked the dust down a little bit, but it's been a great year," said Alan Habiak, president and general manager of the Middlesex County Fair Association.
2021 marked the 83rd year in the fair's history.
