Police are working to track down the shooter who killed a man in New Brunswick Friday night.
Neighbors on Fulton Street reported hearing three to four gunshots around 10:45 p.m., and then saw a Nissan crash into a parked car.
The victim, 31-year-old Hakim Williams, had been inside the vehicle. He was shot at least twice, in the chest and the abdomen, and the bullets had been fired through the windshield. He was pronounced dead.
A neighbor tells News 12 that there was no sign of the driver. The neighbor says she was told that it was a female driver.
Police have not released information on any possible suspects or motives in the case.
Authorities were able to collect surveillance video from homes along the block as they continue their investigation.
