The Lyndhurst Police Department is investigating a robbery at the Kearny Bank on Stuyvesant Avenue.
Police say that an African-American man wearing a mask over his face walked over to the teller, demanded money and then left. The robbery happened Tuesday at around 1:45 p.m.
The robbery was caught on the bank's surveillance system. The suspect is around 6 feet tall, and was wearing blue jeans, a dark T-shirt, dark baseball cap and sunglasses. Police say he covered his face with a light-colored T-shirt or towel.
No one inside the bank was hurt during the incident.
