The Long Branch teenager accused of murdering his parents, sister and a family friend pleaded not guilty.
Scott Kologi was 16 when his family was killed in their house on New Year's Eve in 2017.
An attorney for Kologi entered the not guilty plea during a court hearing Monday. Lawyers say their defense for the killings may include an insanity plea. 
Kologi was diagnosed with autism and possible early signs of schizophrenia.
