The company says New Jerseyans can expect to see similar precautions put in place when Six Flags Great Adventure reopens.
A host of new safety guidelines will include empty rows and seats on roller coasters, queue lines separated by six-foot markers and snacks purchased through an app.
All visitors will also be required to wear masks.
Frontier City will first open with limited capacity, and restrictions on the number of guests in the park will be loosened over time. Guests will have to make reservations.
All tickets will be purchased online in advance, with no option to buy at the gate. Temperature screening and touch-less bag checks are at the entrance.
